INSURANCE AT PINEY WOODS.   II

nolia Tree Saloon. The losses in Piney Woods was

adjusted at $17.

When Mrs. Meadows had her fire, we, ourselves, showed her how to make up her claim on wearing apparel for

$65o, and that was $50 less than the insurance. She

never got it. You never get anything from the trust unless you force it out. Rather than law Mrs. Meadows took the $17. Here are the tables which we have made up after the tables printed in the Spectator:

This table shows a clear profit of $3,585 to the trust, exclusive of the little rake-off allowed to Beasley and Thompson for getting the business. As all they do to get it is to lie for it they are overpaid if they are allowed $50 apiece a year. Let 'em raise rates if they want to. Sam Watson, secretary of the Great Southern Farmers, says his company is right in it at the old rate and a 1-e-e-tle shading, and he says so in an ad. elsewhere in the CLARION.
